The Good – Air Jordan 6 “Infrared” Pack

Can anything negative be said about the Air Jordan 6 “Infrared” Pack? After months of rumor speculations, it is great to see this pack finally come to existence. We also applaud Jordan Brand for the time in which they decided to release this pack. What better way to kick off the summer, right? Now that its release date has came and went, can we label this one of the better sneaker packs of all time?

Earlier this week, GOOD Music label mates Kanye West and Kid Cudi were both spotted wearing nice colorways of the Jordan Spizike. Hours are ticking away to the release of the highly anticipated Air Jordan 6 “Infrared Pack.” While Black/Varsity Red and White/Varisty Red makeups of the Air Jordan 6 have made their way to market this year, there has been many Jordan enthusiasts holding out for the lighty hue of red.

Earlier today we saw the Jordan Icons for the Cal Bears, who are on their way to a Pac-10 title. To follow those up, we have a look at a set of Jordans for another conference championship contender.

The Georgetown Hoyas are represented with, and represent in, these player exclusive Jordans. Navy blue fills out the quarter panel, with help from the white threads on the embroidered design. A navy blue midsole and liner are also used. The remainder of the shoe is white. Near the heel, the Georgetown G is sewn on in grey and blue.

Adidas has already released an memorable sneaker collection this year in the form of the Star Wars x adidas Originals collection. However, tomorrow, March 13th, 2010, adidas will finally unleash another one of its bigger releases of the year named the adidas ZX700 Boat.

The adidas ZX700 Boat sneaker, which is the product of a Shoe Gallery, Upset Gentleman and adidas collaboration, is ideal for the upcoming spring/summer season to say the least. Its premium oxblood red leather base is offset by an off-white midsole and a navy blue outsole. However, its most distinctive attributes appear throughout the upper. For example, it owns a gingham inner lining and a grey panel just below the collar area. Gold laceholders and gold adidas branding are spotted on this area as well. This is definitely a nice, unique sneaker for the spring/summer season.

ShoeGallery x Upset Gentlemen x adidas ZX700 Boat

Earlier this week we saw a number of brightly-colored Nike Air Maxim 1s come together to make the “Air Attack” Pack. Keeping with the theme, but breaking from the pack, we are seeing this new colorway of Torch-infused Nikes for later this year.

Neon orange jumps off the white base. The Flywire quarter panels, toe box and collar have all been dressed with Torch and matching mesh. The aforementioned neon orange can be seen on the mudguard, midfoot and heel, while a black Swoosh, eyelet and outsole are also implemented. Expect these to drop sometime this Summer.

Recently, New Balance released a two-set of 1500s at select retailers overseas; however, while we await a stateside arrival for those, tomorrow, March 13th, 2010, New Balance will unleash its Hanon and Eschler-assisted collaboration in the form of the New Balance 576 Bionic Project at select retailers nationwide (click here to see the spots that will carry these shoes).

One pair makes use of a mostly white leather base with suede sections seen on the toe area (off-white), around the collar and on the heel (blue). As for the other pair, it contains a primarily grey leather base with dark grey suede hints on the same areas; its secondary color, yellow, is spotted on the inner lining and heel cap. Both colorways are finished with white midsole, a black outsole, a 3M reflective New Balance logo and a net-like design on the toe box. The Cal Bears have a good shot at being the Pac-10 Tournament champion when all is said in done. These Jordan Icons, though, may have already earned them the footwear crown

The white pair uses standard leather for the majority of the upper, while navy blue patent covers the toe and forefoot. Matching embroidery appears on the side, and the liner and midsole also display the deep blue hue. The second pair is made entire of navy blue nubuck, while golden yellow is worked in throughout. Both show the Cal script logo on their respective heels.

Nike is no stranger to dropping dope releases with holiday themes, and this St. Patty’s Day drop was no different. This shoe features a perfect balance of green patent leather and white patent leather on the base. This pair was a premium quickstrike release so unfortunately they sold out out extremely fast.

Nike decided to use only two colors of patent leather on the upper. Specifically, the green patent leather toe cap/midfoot contrasts perfectly with the white patent leather heel. It is also complimented with a white patent leather swoosh, a white midsole and a green translucent outsole. Its complimentary, distinctive touches include a leprechaun hat on the heel tab and a tongue label that signifies the day of St. Patrick. 2006 Nike Air Force 1 Premium “St. Patrick’s Day”

Without warning, a new colorway of the Nike Air 3 has hit shelves. Using an unorthodox, and very noticeable colorway, this once-signature shoe of Kevin Garnett can be found at House of Hoops now.

Metallic Gold leather appears on the wave design along the quarter panels, and is the first thing you’ll notice. The same materal covers the collar area and Swoosh. White leather and gold mesh fill in the remainder of the upper. Complementing the white mid- and outsole is a gold Air unit.
